At Roots Garden, we carefully pack and ship plants and garden products to ensure they reach you in healthy and safe condition. Since plants are living products, our shipping process is designed with extra care.
1. Shipping Locations
Roots Garden currently delivers to selected locations in India.
Delivery availability may depend on:

- Courier service availability
- Weather conditions
- Plant safety during transit
If delivery is not available to your location, we may contact you after order placement and offer cancellation, refund, or an alternative option where possible.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Processing time may vary depending on:
- Plant availability
- Plant health check
- Potting or packing requirements
- Public holidays
- Weather conditions
- Courier pickup schedules
For live plants, we may delay dispatch slightly if it is necessary to ensure the plant is healthy and safe for shipping.
3. Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is usually 3–7 business days after dispatch, depending on the delivery location and courier partner.
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, strikes, festivals, local restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown at checkout or informed before order confirmation.
Shipping charges may vary based on:
- Delivery location
- Product weight
- Product size
- Pot type
- Number of items
- Courier charges
Free shipping may be offered on selected products, offers, or order values at the discretion of Roots Garden.
5. Packaging for Live Plants
We take special care while packing live plants.
Depending on the plant and product type, we may use protective materials to secure:
- Leaves
- Stem
- Soil
- Pot
- Root ball
- Outer packaging
Minor soil movement, small leaf bends, or slight natural stress may happen during transit and will not be considered damage unless the plant is severely damaged or dead on arrival.
6. Delivery of Plants
Since plants are living products, customers are requested to:
- Be available to receive the order.
- Provide a correct and complete address.
- Provide a reachable phone number.
- Open the package as soon as possible after delivery.
- Keep the plant in a suitable place after unpacking.
- Follow the care instructions provided.
Delays in receiving or opening the package may affect plant health.
7. Failed Delivery
Roots Garden will not be responsible for failed delivery caused by:
- Wrong or incomplete address
- Customer not available at the delivery location
- Phone number not reachable
- Refusal to accept the order
- Delay in collecting the package from courier
- Restricted delivery access at the location
In such cases, refund, replacement, or reshipping may not be applicable. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipping, where possible.
8. Damaged or Delayed Orders
If your order is received damaged, broken, or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Once the order is handed over to the courier partner, delivery timelines depend on the courier service.
Roots Garden will assist you with tracking and support, but we are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, weather, transport issues, festivals, strikes, natural events, or other external situations.
10. Tracking Information
Once your order is dispatched, tracking details may be shared through email, WhatsApp, SMS, or order update message, depending on the available system.
Customers can use the tracking details to monitor the delivery status.
11. Shipping Restrictions for Certain Products
Some products may not be suitable for long-distance shipping, including:
- Very delicate plants
- Large plants
- Heavy ceramic pots
- Fragile planters
- Certain seasonal plants
- Products that may get damaged during transit
For such products, delivery may be limited to selected locations only.
12. Local Delivery
For nearby locations, Roots Garden may provide local delivery directly or through local delivery partners.
Local delivery timelines and charges may vary depending on location and order size.
13. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
Once the order has been packed, shipped, or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation may not be possible.
